More About @H0llywoodWh0re
Personally, I became interested in social media following an early adoption of Twitter; a social network that gained it’s fame from mass mainstream media outlets, after it’s start up in 2006. Twitter continues to be reserved as my primary focus and stands as my personal networking page, however, at current I am branching off into a brand new world of networking with over 100 possibilities. As an early adopter, I am often invited into new networking sites — and in this twenty-first century of new-age media, this revolution has allowed the individual user becomes his/her own media which has never occurred to the extent that we’re witnessing today. It is my enjoyment, my work, and my passion — social media.
In 2004, my life changed within seconds from a diagnoses of chronic pain — leading later to the uttering of the word terminal, a description I refuse to live my life by. Picking up a stalker, who I refer to as a fan, I recently was told that “social media is so limiting, no one should ever be a bland social media journalist” (in so many words). To this I laugh and digress, evident is the lack of knowledge in the statements that were made; social media is subjective of extreme depth and detail. I take great pride in my work and my name within the community is very well known, this allows me to receive the recognition I recently obtained through a career in media networking. Often, I say creditability is most important; as is “who you know and those they know” (your network). Word quickly gets around in a world, of technology; a world all of it’s own.
To this woman, and to all the disbelievers, I encourage research; my most favorite resources for such — Twitter, Google, and Wikipedia. To those who are new and novice with social media, I say stick with it as you will learn and enjoyment will be gained with each self-created masterpiece that is your own media. This increases our unique and diverse self-expression — allowing for our voices to be heard.
Personally, I would not trade my current job for anything as I work from the comfort of my own home; with my own technology devices. There are many benefits of working from home; it’s a greener alternative as there is no commute two and from work, I can work in boy short panties and a t-shirt, and I can multitask in boring meetings or during brain overloads. Work, I couldn’t do prior do to my chronic pain and terminal illness; now
Note: This site, social-media-addict, has just been released to the public; and it will stand to reach out to more as I open feeding. True to my dedication, I vow to work diligently on this personal site; as I want share my knowledge in research and establish communication.
Note: As stated prior, I am working on a complex project in social media; one that is allowing me to explore many networks at once — with this project (pain and illness) my time may be limited. I will return to update this Tumblr blog as often as I can.
Have a great night
