A twenty-six year old social media journalist, working for both local and mass media outlets; living daily with the brutality of chronic pain and with terminal illness. Each day struggle and fight for life, yet there is one thing that I’m not — a quitter. I pride myself on being that of a survivor, not a victim; and never will I become that of a statistic. Interested in both, early technological and networking adoption and the ease of obtainable socialization on the Internet, through new-age social networking.

Technology savvy, I am often described by those who know me as unique; a personality like no other. I can be copied but never can I be duplicated in any sense. I have a remarkable thirst for knowledge and enjoy researching various topics — from current events to technology and everything else in between. True to myself, I am firm in personal expression; pridefully stating my opinions — open for respectable debates in accordance. Distinctive; my witty personality often reflects that I put the “fun” in dysfunctional and speak that of the truth believing that life is far to short to live through a tangled web of lies and deception. Believing in myself, after a past life of repressive horror, I have vowed self truth; with a exceptional open personality.  

A child of the informational age and multitasking generation, I enjoy the establishment of communication on an array of social networking mediums, in this twenty-first social media revolution. At current, I am a member of over 120 social networks; getting invites almost daily for new upcoming media — due to my current employment with a variety of well known technology publications. Prideful in who I am, I am often described as “geek chic” and nicknamed (by those who know me well) “Twitterbug”/”Twitterpated”. I have a bright and creative personality, believing that the diversity of personal expression sets us apart as a single race — the human race.

Social networking media gives to me both a positive focus and employment, enjoying the knowledge I obtain — a reason to wake up every single morning. My remarkable thirst for knowledge allows me to continue my knowledge; that knowledge I enjoy sharing. It is also social networking media that allows my enjoyment for Internet socialization, in a globally interconnected world; this socialization increases my database of friends and gives to me a focus and support group.
